Message	decent car, rides nice, handles well. Currently at 106k miles. not as reliable as my Z though. In the 5 years I've had it I've had the following issues: 1) fuel pump (left me stranded, ethanol related according to the BMW tech) 2) starter (at 70k miles?! ) 3) water pump (bearing failure) 4) check engine light P0171, P0174 (torn intake boot - shitty design) 5) check engine light P0171, P0174 (leaking o-ring on DISA valve) 6) Interior A pillar and C pillar trim falling apart. Interior quality is subpar "German Engineering" is over-rated. I'd stay away from the mini cooper if you want something reliable. A co-worker has one and its always in the shop.
